Volt Virginia didn’t start in a boardroom; it started on the backroads of the Commonwealth.
As a native Virginian and a professional in the industrial supply chain, I’ve spent my career seeing how infrastructure—or the lack of it—shapes our communities. While our cities are rapidly electrifying, I noticed a growing gap: our rural destinations, mountain towns, and "slow tourism" corridors were being left behind.
I founded Volt Virginia because I believe that visiting a local brewery in Nelson County or hiking the Blue Ridge shouldn't require "range anxiety."
Why we do this: The "big-box" charging model doesn't work for the country. It’s too expensive, too slow, and puts too much strain on our local grids. We’re doing it differently. By combining cutting-edge battery technology with a deep respect for our local utility partners, we’re building a network that supports local business, protects our grid, and ensures that every corner of Virginia is accessible to the next generation of travelers.

The Path to 2026
We aren't just building chargers; we’re optimizing the transition. Volt Virginia specializes in the IRS 30C Tax Credit, which covers 30% of project costs for non-urban hubs.
The Deadline: Federal law requires infrastructure to be "Placed in Service" by June 30, 2026. To guarantee compliance and secure these incentives for our partners, we are prioritizing site engineering through Q1 2026.
Volt Virginia LLC is a federally registered entity (UEI pending) dedicated to the long-term resilience of Virginia's rural energy grid.

Infrastructure is expensive, but it shouldn't be a barrier. We handle 100% of the private capital, federal tax equity (IRS 30C), and utility coordination. You provide the space; we provide the power.
