Case Study: High-Dwell Infrastructure for Agritourism Corridors.
Strategic Infrastructure Upgrades and High-Capacity Power Deployment for the Blue Ridge hospitality cluster.
The Project Vision.
This project serves as the flagship for our rural infrastructure deployment along the Blue Ridge transit spine. Located at a primary gateway for mountain hospitality, the hub was designed to solve the critical energy gap in high-traffic tourism corridors. In Q1 2026, Volt Virginia finalized a strategic joint venture with Got Electric LLC to move this project into construction, utilizing the grid-edge headroom that exists today.
Strategic Milestones
Safe Harbor & Compliance Locked
Executed hardware procurement in March 2026 to secure federal BABA compliance and protect long-term tax equity.
Multi-Standard Connectivity
Deployment of CP6600-series hardware featuring native Omni-port holsters to support 100% of vehicles currently on the road.
Regional Resilience Anchor
Engineered to support 'Slow Tourism'—encouraging visitors to dwell at local hospitality anchors while they recharge.
The Partnership
This project is the result of a collaborative ecosystem:
- Infrastructure Architect: Volt Virginia LLC (Project Logic & Compliance)
- EPC / Asset Partner: Got Electric LLC (Installation & Asset Ownership)
- Utility Partner: Central Virginia Electric Cooperative (CVEC)
